Recent Changes

Well that was interesting yesterday morning. I felt that things ran smoothly and it was great that people had a chance
to hear the information re: ministry grant.
Lesson learned...check out that computer in the lab to make sure you can access websites you are using. Sharon and I had a heck of a time getting 'teachertube' up so we could demo 'wikis in plain english'
We could do the demo for ugliwiki in one lab but not the other. We couldn't even get into First Class in one session.
And I made the assumption that if people just followed the steps on "your invited" page they could get onto Ugliwiki...I know Jeanne wasn't at the OLA session and now she is on our ctla site. So...did Janice have to give her 'permission' to join?

Difficulty with fonts and colours
You can get the demo by going to TEACHER TUBE. It's the educational version of Utube and is not blocked by the firewall. I saw the wikis in plain english on TeacherTube. Apparently there is a SCHOOL TUBE too!

"You tube" clips can be emailed to yourself using zamzar.

This session would be aimed at the medium/strong tech people.
